Haha, I bet! Did you have to haul a tripod up there too, or did you just hold the camera?

As an image,
I like this very much.
But,
I must say that when pictures are stitched together,
I have a recurring problem
trying to imagine what the scene actually looks like.
Perhaps, because I have seen so many,
I can mentally compensate for
the fore-shortening that occurs with telephoto,
and with the potential distortion from wide angle.
In other words,
I can well visualize the "sense-of-place"
from the photographer's perspective.

This image is somewhat less problematical
than others I have seen.
However, I still find myself asking questions such as,
"Does that stream really make that 90 degree turn?
or, is it the result of 'flattening out' a 270 degree experience?"

This is undoubtedly more of a philosophical question,
but it's one which I think should be asked.

Excellent question!
In this case it does that turn, even though the sense of the turn is emphasized by that downward waterfall

Actually every one can draw but not everyone wants to take the time to learn how. It really isn't a talent. It just comes with practice like any other skill. But you also have to be patient. Many people don't have the patients to draw.:)

I just have a lousy camera. So I like to draw and paint instead. :) But that is fine. I get to draw from a lot of stock on DA. :)

Take Care

AS BIG AS THE WORLD ITSELF

I have a, uhm, 1440x900 (I think?) widescreen monitor, and would love to have this as one of my backgrounds. [link] <-- Is my current desktop, and am looking to change it. :3

THANK YOU SO MUCH

If I wasn't so dirt-poor I would totally buy the print. It's a beautiful shot, and I love panoramas. :D

Will this do?
I had to crop it a little bit to fit your resolution.
Also the original is so big that it is difficult to downsize properly.
