Inspiriational Movies + Bday

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 16, 2009, 3:09 AM

Hello all

Finally it is spring time and Vitamin D stocks can fill up again.
I hope you are all doing fine, I certainly am because I had some nice cake yesterday. I also want to buy me a new camera bag for a birthday present. It shouldn't be too big, just enough room for camera, one lense and maybe one spare lense and a notebook. The most important feature would be that it shouldn't look like a camera bag. Do you know if anything close to that exists?

I enjoy watching movies (maybe too much) and sometimes I pick up ideas from them to apply to photography. They can also be very inspirational and so on. What are your favourite movies in this sense or any new ones that you have found inspirational?
Some that I have lately seen are for example, Ghost Town (starring Ricky Gervais) www.imdb.com/title/tt0995039/ The Diving Bell and The Butterfly by Julian Schnabel (who by the way has great soundracks in his few movies) www.imdb.com/title/tt0401383/ Definitely, Maybe (I know, that it is a girly movie, but I loved it :noes:) www.imdb.com/title/tt0832266/ and The Illusionist www.imdb.com/title/tt0443543/

Oh yes, not perhaps photographically but at least mentally

Well it actually inspired me to do some photos...just haven't gotten around to it yet :/ lol...which is kind of counter to the whole "just do it" feel of the movie huh? :giggle:

Happy Birthday!

My camera bag is close to what you described - a bit more room - but close.
It's a Black's brand photo bag. (Black's is canada's number 1 photo store, not sure if you have them in finland).

This is it. in it, I store two film bodies, a 35-70mm, 35-200mm and 500mmMI for one camera, and a 50mm, 28mm, and 80-200mm for the other - not to mention all my accessories.

Something smaller?

This will store exactly what you said: DSLR, a lens and a spare, and a notebook :)
